RHS ROSEMOOR BOOK FAIR 2017

What a joy to come across this little family tucked away sharing Whoa! Joe…

Such a friendly dragon was Archibald…

RHS ROSEMOOR BOOK FAIR 2017

It was a real privilege to be invited to participate in RHS Rosemoor’s first Book Fair in the new Garden Room, alongside fellow local authors Colin Beazley and Ruth Downie.

Independent booksellers came from across the South West. An opportunity to chat with the public, sell a few books and even gain some ideas for new ones. Thanks Harry!

What a joy it was when taking a wander, to chance upon the work of Alison Murray of All2Knit. ‘Once upon a Time’ is a set of three giant textile books – the 4th in a series of gigantic community knitting projects currently on tour around the country. Textile artist, Alison has coordinated all the projects with the help of her mother. No mean feat when you have a team of volunteer knitters numbering over 500 people from around the country.
Whoa! Joe was very much at home in the various scenes and in the arms of Archibald, the nine foot dragon!

… it was time for some adventures

I painted the sky (and there was a dragon!)

Today I swam the ocean…
