To bring ANOTHER DAY! into being, took another team of dedicated and brilliant people from the coast and countryside of Devon and Cornwall in the South West, to the heart of North East England and even rural Spain!
ROSIE GODFREY, author and songwriter for Another Day! and narrator on Dodo Audio, lives, writes and generally ‘mucks about’ on the Edge of Exmoor in North Devon. “They say it takes a village to raise a child. Well it also takes a ‘village’ of creative, passionate and gentle souls to bring a children’s picture-book, capable of touching the hearts and minds of children and adults alike, into being. Fortunately, the team around this particular ‘child’ was all those things and more!”
JENN GARSIDE our illustrious illustrator! It took many months, emails and a couple of zoom meetings to get there, but together we got the images and layout that became Another Day!

Not only does she have bucketfuls of expertise, but also immense patience!!
Next we needed to bring on board someone to notate the song for inclusion in the book. And we were lucky to have the multi-talented musician and singer/songwriter CHLOE BIX step up to the keyboard for us once again, even though she was now living and working in Spain!
What did we do before the internet?!
Having our lyrical picture books in AUDIO format too, is vitally important to us.
This time, we were privileged to find LARA CONLEY – a fabulously-gifted local musician and singer/songwriter who brought The Welly Boot Song to life with her enchanting voice and gentle playing, on guitar and dulcimer. So next, the search was on for a suitable recording studio! This time we were grateful to track down the ever-calm and skilful ROB WATSON at COPSE CORNER STUDIOS, on Exmoor, in Devon.
Not many miles from where the characters of Charlie and Dodo first came into being!
